Hi!  Welcome to the boards!

I live in DC.   I tried to get a tour of the White House a couple years ago, but didn't get one.   Smiley Sad

We did just go down to the National Portrait Gallery today, and toured all the paintings of the past presidents.    That was a real treat.

I also order White House Christmas ornaments most years.  I like the history of the White House, too.   I will try again to get a tour.  I picked the last months of the Obama administration, and I think it's hard to get tours at the very end and the very beginning of each presidency.

One of my favorite things to talk about is Wasington, DC. Or I should say, our house, the White House. I think our forefathers are turning over in their graves at the antics going on. It seems every day is a new journey into the realm of the world. I also like to talk about anything worth talking about. I live alone and have plenty of time.
