Want ss and bithdate for reward

I won a reward and due to my yearly total wins reaching $600, I need to fill out a form with y social and birthday to get a 1099.  This form comes not from AARP but a third party called Hello World, this company does not have a phone number. I want the reward and paying tax is fine.  No one at AARP can tell me if my info will be secured at Hello World.  I don't want my identity stolen.  I've spoken to 3 people at AARP and can not get an answer.  Can anyone one help.  I have to send information in 5 days to get reward and only have 2 days left.

@tm58629588 No worries! The declaration form process is secure and only used for tax purposes. The email will come from the DocuSign system and you will be provided with a secure link to access your form.

Further questions regarding this process can be directed to Hello World via email at customercare@helloworldfulfillment.com

Thank -you Lucy .  I have no objection to paying tax, just want to know my SS is in safe hands.  Spoke with an AARP rep who said he would forward my question to his supervisor, but no one got back to me. The AARP reps say they have no info reading Hello World, can not tell me it is a safe website, simply don't know.  I'd love my gift card, but concerned AARP will give me NO assurance my info is in safe hands.  I have been an AARP member for 25 years and have almost 2 million points, sad no one from AARP will get back to me or help me.  In 25 years I have never asked AARP for anything until now.

I guess that is the cost of playing this game.

It happened to me last year when I won a sweepstakes and I did get the 1099.  Everybody has to fill out this form if they win more than the $600, OR forfeit the prize. Same thing if you win big at the casino's.

So far I have not experienced any problems with the data I disclosed on the form even though I do not trust Hello World. Hopefully AARP won't experience a data breach of any kind. Hope this helps with your decision. Good Luck
