Using Safewy/Randalls eGift cards

I am having problems using my Safeway/Randalls eGift cards at my local Randalls. They keep on saying these cards are invalid because of expiration date of 12/31/2037. They also tell me that their corporate office has told them not to accept these cards. Anyone else with this problem? If yes then was anyone able to resolve this issue?

well, how high up the chain of command did you go?  If the cashier says no, go to customer service.  If they don't know, ask for the customer service manager.  Next step would be the store manager.  I had Albertson's gift cards with a 2037expiration date, and they were fine once I left the cashier and spoke to customer service.

Maybe you already followed this course of action.  Maybe you have to go higher.  BTW, in case you aren't aware, Albertson's is part of this family which is why I commented.
