Transaction History Messed Up... HELP!!

Hello Rewards Warriors,

My transaction history changed to yesterday's date after completing half of the video activities today, started recording completed videos from 10/12.

Is anyone else having problems with this issue?

@AARPTeri this makes it impossible to determine what's been completed, please review my Transaction History and correct the completed videos for 10/13.  Thanks for your help.

Hello @kuonothome

You're right about using points on something the majority of members want😡

Are you able to view your Transaction History, and are your points and last activity info showing on the black banner at top of page?  Thanks for letting me know.

This morning, I was able to get my black banner to show the current points only after I had earned all I could and refreshed the screen, both by pressing F5 (might be Ctrl+F5 depending on your PC settings. If you're on a Mac, I can't help you.) and by highlighting the URL in the address bar and pressing Enter. It happened only once or twice and was not anywhere near consistent.

Also, I was able to get my Transaction History to show the list by clicking the link a second time. When I did some more moving around and tried it another time, I got the error message. Clicking the link again did nothing for it. Again, this was also not consistent.

With my finite knowledge of how programming works, I just wonder how these things can be so inconsistent in their operation - sometimes working just fine (albeit a bit slowly) and other times not responding at all to refreshing screens, clicking again, or starting over, but still other times responding to those activities, even if it is after several coaxes.

Gotta love technology!

Enjoy!

Hello Lynn,

Thanks for updating us on the Transaction History issueSmiley HappyI was able to view history for today after 1 hour and 38 minutes of refreshing and reloading.  After getting screenshot for today, refreshed & back to "Error message"😡 ,

Guess it's not important for us to know this information.  Unbelievable what members pay for to experience constant problems.  Why are we beta testers, didn't we deserve a working program following all the hype, Management?

@AARPTeri & @sandy

I was told by Customer Service yesterday that if your Black Banner has no information you're unable to play Instant Wins, and I had problems with both.  Is this information true?  I'm still experiencing the time zone problem @AARPTeri.  So unfair to paying members, and needs a fix.  Thanks ladies for helping.

Hello Rewards Warriors,

I have seen that very few members will reply or post information confirming that they are experiencing the same issues.  I'm asking for responses or updates PLEASE.

The Black Information Banner on the Rewards page isn't displaying the info for last activity or my Points Balance.

I can't view my Transaction History for the current day without an Error Message.

Are any other Rewards members having these problems?  I know @Brightpool & @andrewtoo are having the same problems, are we the only (3) members?

Thank you for responding and letting me know we are not alone.

Hi Teri: My problem may not be technical but I have not been able to access my Transaction History for over a week. Waited patiently for it to get fixed (Maybe a BETA problem) Finally tried AARP Reward Help Chat. wasted over an hour with the specialist Smiley Embarassed( I explained the problem to her but she just could not understand what I was talking about,

"""""Under Transaction History I am getting this error. "There was an error processing your request. Please try again"
I have been trying to access my History for a week now and this error has persisted. Using Win7 and Chrome browser
Have cleared cache, cookies, history ect, even restarted, rebooted, and unpluged computer to no avail. Any suggestions ?? PS_ Most of the time the points balance in the long black bar across the page does not show a balance Thanks in Advance

Lucy,

@andrewtoo, @RussellP197074 and I have had this problem for months now.  I personally haven't seen my Transaction History since October of last year.  We all have tried everything possible to no avail.

We have come up with work arounds to see are points balance.  You can go to My Account and your correct points balance will appear.

Hopefully, someone can figure it out.

I am seeing the same screen thing on the transaction history and black banner that you are, Marylin.

It is very frustrating and I hope it gets fixed soon.  I could post the very same images from my transaction page.  And the black banner is not working on any page right now.  It is much more difficult to keep track of points earned.  I haven't tried the instant win today and I don't intend to.

Hello @andrewtoo

Andrew what concerns me is Customer Service's statement; that if your black banner has no information you're unable to participate in the Instant Wins😤. Something may come up that you do want to try and get.

@AARPTeri

I have cleared cookies and cache, changed devices and browsers and the problem continues with my Transaction History.

The response from AARP Rewards tickets submitted come back with use Google and clear Cookies and Cache, which I've informed them while submitting the ticket, that I'm using the most current Google browser and clear cookies and cache daily.

I have discovered that if I logout daily and log back in that the Daily Visit points appear in the Transaction History for the beginning of the day, but then 1/2 way through completing daily activities the date changes to the previous day and start recording activites already taken on the previous day.

I can't view my Transaction from the beginning of the program without Error message posted previously.

Please help with resolving the issue.

Have a Blessed Day,

@mi4090

Hello Rewards Community,

Unable to go to beginning of Transaction History to view Welcome Bonus points, plus now getting error message.  Am I the only person with this problem? Tried (3) times to view with different devices and browsers, cleared cache and logged out and back in with error.

@sandy please help.

Hello Marylin,

I'm glad you posted that last image.  I couldn't effectively earn points without seeing my transaction history.  I have a tab (in Chrome) open with my transaction history and check after each activity to make sure I received credit before moving on to the next earning opportunity. I have seen that error message before, both at the when first opening the transaction history and while "Seymouring"," (as @ralmon called the see more button, ha ha) through my history.  However, the problem does not last for me; I just have to keep trying sometimes until it works consistently.

I believe you have a "case" number now?  Maybe they will look at your account and get this error fixed.

Haha! You made verb out of it @andrewtoo , a verb of dearth and despair: seymouring 😨

I can't take credit for the Seymour reference, though. In one of the earlier posts, someone mentioned the Little Shop of Horrors in relation to this. Seemed like a great term to run with.

I'm so glad we can make somewhat light of being beta testers. We all deserve a reward after this thing runs more stable.

Hey @AARPTeri , send us all a nice 'attaboy/girl/person' gift card or something when the Beta label is removed. We need the celebration.

Hello @andrewtoo

Andrew, I called when it first started.  After (2) hours and 10 mins got a Case#.  I don't like being a "Crash Test Dummie", the program launch was all about money and not about us.  My transaction history missed recording (10) videos I watched todaySmiley Sad

Thanks for letting me know that it resolved itself for you, I've been trying for (3) days now and it's only getting worst.

Evil Seymour strikes again! Smiley Wink

I get that anytime I try to "See More" than a couple days of history. A proper web programmer would put the message at the bottom of the list instead of overwriting the list already retrieved.

Sigh - growing pains are the worst.

Hello @ralmon

Ray, thanks for letting me know that you're seeing also.  The "See More" button can't handle a couple of weeks of activities, what's going to happen when you reach (3) months of activities to viewSmiley Surprised  I guess we'll spend a whole day trying to view our Transaction HistorySmiley Mad  Believe me there will come a time when you want to go back and look.
