Question regarding AARP Rewards Experience Nature Sweepstakes

Many of us have the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Senior Life pass but would appreciate the REI ecard.

The "official rules" state:

Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason.

If winners have the Senior Life pass, can the $80 annual pass fee be added to the REI ecard or cash?

Thank you in advance!

Good question! And I have a related one. If the winner is an eligible senior who doesn’t already have a Senior Life Pass, can they be given the Senior Life Pass instead of the Regular Annual Pass? Both passes cost the same ($80).

By the way, thank you to REI for being a big supporter of our national and state parks. And thank you to AARP for lobbying to keep the Senior Pass benefits stable:

@AARPLynne and @AARPTeri can you please direct us to the correct person to answer this?

Thank you in advance!
