I find it ironic that AARP is constantly warning us about scams and yet AARP and their advertisers have promos that are borderline scams!
Todays Member Benefits Update lists a 40% discount on FTD Flowers Choice Collection. Clicking the link brings me to the FTD home page that also has a pink banner highlighting the same deal! After shopping and going to my cart to checkout - behold, only a 30% discount was applied! I found in the fine print that it states the AARP discount is UP TO 40% but this stated only at the final step and one has to search carefully to find it! SHAME! Very disappointed!
Also have to be vigilant in that I recently sent a combination same day delivery flowers and gift and I got a notice it was delivered. I found out the gift wasn't delivered. I called FTD and they said they were sorry the florist was out the gift and they had notified me. I looked at all emails and I never received that notice. When pushed they did give me a refund for the missing item plus 5%. I would have rather had the gift sent. It was all same day and they should have known they were out of the gift when I ordered. And they should have sent a credit without me calling to complain. Be vigilant.
Hello @BigG77, this is certainly not the type of experience we want our members to have. We are listening and would like the chance to help as soon as possible. Please visit https://help.aarp.org/s/article/contact-aarp to chat, text, or speak with a representative who can get you in touch with our Member Relations team. We look forward to hearing from you. - Daniela R.
