AARP Rewards Checkout Unavailable Over a Week, No Updates?

This issue with AARP Rewards checkout has been ongoing for at least a week and there are absolutely no updates or additional information available anywhere and even support personnel on this forum simply say they have no updates at all, seriously?

I wonder if AARP's highy-paid CEO has any clue what is going on and has been going on for weeks!

Its definitely one of the worst websites I've ever encountered. Checkout has been unavailable for weeks, no explanation. Certain items you have to redeem by "unlocking" with activities, but you do the activity and it doesn't record it. The site in general is poor to navigate, unnecessary reloads. So much clutter that every time you click on something you have to scroll around. For a site aimed at seniors you would think they would make it easy to navigate. Weirdly even with checkout unavailable - they keep adding "new" items - but you can't actually purchase them.

I cannot imagine what kind of contract this administrator (AKA HelloWorld or Merkle Inc or whatever name they are using this week) has with AARP.org, but it must be a very lucrative one. No other organization worth their salt would put up with the destructive service provided by this administrator. Either AARP.org is not aware of this rewards programs problems created by this administrator, which we are suffering with every single day OR they simply choose to look the other way. Regardless, the situation has become so unbearable and frustrating that the only solution suggests cutting all ties with AARP and move on somewhere else. SO SAD

And today it is even worse.  I've tried doing the quizzes for a Members Only card, and what do I get?  "We're experiencing technical difficulties."  There is no doubt that this is THE WORST website I have ever had to deal with.  The only reason I stay is because I keep thinking that at some point, these people need to wake up and get a decent administrator.

I had the same issue. It wouldnt register the quiz. I tried 4 different times on 2 different devices. It definitely is the worst website out there. Beyond being non functional - its so terrible to try to navigate. So disappointing considering it is aimed at seniors, and also considering the amount of money that aarp has behind it.

I still need to order 3 gift cards to hit the limit of 5 for the month.

The rules are you can only get 3 per month, but since the system is usually down it doesn't matter.

You can only get 3 cards with points only per month.  But you are allowed to buy 5 additional cards with money, as a charge to your credit/debit card per month.

Maybe if there was a way to force AARP to reimburse members for lost savings they would be working around the clock to get this thing fixed.  This is going to cost me $100 in savings.

When we sign up as members of AARP and pay our annual dues, we are told we will receive certain benefits as a part of our membership.  We are not receiving those benefits.  We should be compensated.
