Response to the article "The Inside Story of your Body. (The Women's Edition) by Judith Newman

I don't know if anyone else was insulted by this article in the current August/September AARP magazine as I was and still am, but I may end up canceling my 20+ year membership because of it.  The author, Judith Newman,  has no clue how to write about women's health and her illustrator, Laura Edlebacher, added to the insult with her "cartoon-like" illustrations.  I cannot imagine any woman of AARP age thinking or speaking like this, especially in the third person.  I would love to send a letter to the editor, but the AARP website is useless in helping me do this, so I am asking the forum.

Please read the article, if you haven't, and please voice your opinion.  I am interested in knowing what other women think.  I encourage you to "swallow hard" and read the entire article. It may be hard to get past the "breast and me" opening conversation but believe me,  once you get to the uterus as an  "Airbnb for Babies" discussion, I think you will be as insulted as I am.

 Let me know your thoughts.
