Prefilled mailers

With all the talk about scammer and fraud why does AARP send so many mailers with information already filled in? Every page has some information on so that you have to shred every page. Talk about waste! This time of the year is the worst with all the Medicare forms to change your policy. Must get at least 2 a week.
