Medical transportation on release from out patient surgery

I have searched everywhere and everything to find Transportation to get me home after outpatient surgery with light anaesthesia. Hospitals/doctors will not release to Uber or Lyft type companies. What does one do to get home?

Be sure to check with your insurance provider to determine if there's a benefit for transportation.
