I can't seem to find any advice or links to providers to deal with the need for medical insurance coverage while traveling outside the USA. This is such an obvious thing that is missing because it is well known that Medicare does not cover medical or hospitalization bills abroad.
@ArturoP387544 Although AARP does not have any suggestions on providers for this insurance, we do have a few articles on the topic that you may find informative:

https://www.aarp.org/travel/travel-tips/safety/info-2019/travel-insurance-tips.html
https://www.aarp.org/travel/travel-tips/safety/info-2021/travel-health-insurance.html
You may want to also consult the Consumer Reports website for recommendations: https://www.consumerreports.org/
Thank you for these tips and links, though none of them address travel-abroad-related medical insurance coverage in the kind of detail that the subject deserves -- especially in the wake of lessons learned from travel during and in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.
General articles like "Make Your Dream Vacation Stress-Free" in Consumer Reports or AARP's "How to Pick the Right Travel Insurance" do not focus on medical insurance needs.
Therefore, I recommend that AARP give this topic of huge relevance to seniors the priority it deserves, commissioning at least one in-depth article on it for the Health and Travel sections of this website, to be updated on a yearly basis.
And it should include links to reputable insurance companies and insurance brokers offering coverage for travel-abroad medical contingencies for those over 65 years old.
