CCRC

My wife and I are currently in the process of selecting a CCRC and are wondering if there are any available statistics that could help us with 4 questions:

  1.      About, how long do residents, on average, typically live in Independent Living if they enter a CCRC in their early 80s?
  2.      About how many residents, on average, move on to higher levels of care?
  3.      What kind of care do they typically require, just Assisted Living and/or Skilled Nursing and/or Memory Care?
  4.      And, about how long, on average, do people who do move on live in higher levels of care?

We appreciate this information would only be averages and probably the only thing that is certain is that we will not be average, but at least the averages might help us with our evaluation of costs over time; we think.

Thank you for your help.
