AARP power adapter

This came as a free gift to charge other devices using a USB cord. It fried my JBL speaker and Ring camera battery as soon as I plugged them in!!
now what?? Will you replace these items for me?
huge loss!

Thank you for the heads up. This is supposedly on the way to my house. I will NOT be using it!

Are you kidding me?

I plugged four devices into the power adapter, then plugged the adapter into an electrical outlet.  All four devices had power:

-  printer

-  scanner

-  mouse

-  portable CD drive

The problem?  There was no way to use these 4 devices because my laptop is NOT part of the configuration.

I have a 3-port hub with a USB extension that connects to my laptop...so ALL 3 devices are powered, recognized, and usable by my laptop.  This garbage is TOFU (totally freaking useless).  Contrary to what is advertised by AARP, there is NO user manual.

Any suggestions?
