I can see that someone replied.  I can't see the reply.  But at least I can now reply, myself.  You have to be logged on to reply, and if you're not logged on you won't see any error message or anything advising you to log on.  So at least THAT'S taken care of.  I do wish I could see the reply, though.  Again, whatever you have to do is not at all obvious and there are no hints.

Usually clicking on     reply is enough to bring up reply window. Sometimes ,I had to sign on to AARP board with password to reply but most of the time you don`t.

How the heck do you post a reply to anything?  Whatever you have to do, it's sure not obvious -- and all the obvious (to me) methods fail.
