How are the solitaire games scored? Where can I find the answer?

Sometimes I feel like I play well but my score is still low.

I don't have been looking for that answer myself, it appears AARP wants to keep the secret.

Got no idea either. The Tri Peaks is the only one that makes sense where long runs of cards multiply but Klondike and Pyramid. WTF knows? Time matters, of course but there is more than that.
