or how about it just learns to play the game.  Incessant stupid hits into its foreboard leaving pieces wide open there to being hit instantly.   Incessantly passing up opportunities to close its foreboard.   You mention it to support and all they can tell you is that they know nothing about the game.

Better but still a bit "clumsy".  Definately NEEDS a doubling cube.  It's part of the strategy of the game.  Go to 24.7.com games and check their Backgammon game out.  It's first class!
