Hi, Everyone!  Just in case you've given up, I just wanted you to know that the Trizzle Trophy Room is finally fixed.  It's kind of funny earning trophies for things I've done over and over months ago, but, at least somebody finally figured out the problem.

I sure hope similarly (in)competent programmers aren't in charge of our credit scores and our nuclear weapons.  Oh, wait.  They probably are...

Anywho.... kudos to AARPLynne for pursuing this to the sweet end.  :-)

O.K. Folks, it's now Nov. 6th and the Trophy Room of the Trizzle Game is still stuck in the same way it was back in June.  I've gone on to play other games, signed into the Lumosity website, done a bunch of paying surveys, have started using a Fun Trivia site, etc. etc.  Every once in a while, I try the Trizzle Game and it's still a bit of fun, but it would be soooooooooooooooo much better if somebody would fix the Trophy Room.  I mean, why doesn't Arcadia just delete the Trophy Room if it can't be fixed?

O.K., Folks, here we are.  To repeat: on June 5th, word was  ["...the technical team ... were able to reproduce the issue and this is being scheduled for repair in the coming weeks."]

Ahem.... June 5th to August 20th.  Let's see, according to my calendar, tomorrow it will be eleven weeks.

Now, I don't want to get too snarky or technical about this, so I suppose we could say that eleven weeks still falls under the category of "coming weeks," but, COME ON, FOLKS, THE TRIZZLE GAME TROPHY ROOM

IS STILL BROKEN 13 WEEKS SINCE I FIRST REPORTED THIS PROBLEM    ON THE 19TH OF MAY.

Just sayin....

Thanks, Cat. I agree there are a lot more interesting things to do. I just like playing for a while in the morning, then either read or walk during the day. Thanks for your efforts to get this fixed though.

DD: I've simply stopped playing.  Every other week or so I take a look in and click on the so-called "Trophy Room," see that it's not fixed, and go on to do other things with my life.  As you say, it's no fun if there's no progress to be made.

On the other hand, I'm winding up writing letters to friends, re-reading (the annotated) Flatland, and doing other more appropriate things for "elders" such as ourselves to do.  I've even found a lot more time to log into Lumosity and play real "brain games."  (If you haven't heard about this NPR sponsor, check them out.)

So, maybe it's for the best.  Please post when/if they ever fix the Trophy Room, and I might check back in.

Will the trophy room ever get fixed?  It's not much fun playing if you can't make any progress.

I have to vent.  You posted an encouraging reply way back on June 5th that ["...the technical team ... were able to reproduce the issue and this is being scheduled for repair in the coming weeks."]

According to my calendar, that's five weeks ago.  I guess I kinda thought "coming" meant "a few," like, two or three.  Whereas it's been 6.5 weeks (i.e., 5/24) since you initially brought this issue to their attention.

Now, I'm no computer genius, nor am I a programmer, but I've worked in offices long enough to think that:

a) they (Arkadium) are dragging their feet because hosting a game on the AARP website is probably not a money-maker for them;

b) they only make money if people get sucked into buying coins; and

c) if this game EVER worked (when they first uploaded it to AARP games), then it should be a simple matter of re-booting it so that the trophy room works.

I realize that this is a "first world" problem, and that there are many other games on many sites to be played.  However, it is beneath the AARP's level of responsibility to continue to do business with a company which obviously is either completely calleous in regard to their errors, OR they're incompetent.  Either way, I'm extremely disappointed in their scheduling efforts.

Dear SusieC51:

Not a dumb question at all.  Go down to my first post (i.e., the one on June 27th which started this thread) and, in the third paragraph, if you click on the blue hi-lited word "HERE", you'll be diverted to my original thread, "Trizzle game trophy room broken".  I hope this helps.
