AARP Games Site Is Getting Better!
In the middle of May, you will experience a new AARP Games site. The site sports an updated look and feel to help you find your favorite games, discover new ones and get to play them faster.
Here’s what to expect:
Finding Games: Now Simpler!
- The new site’s cleaner design makes finding games simpler. The game images on category pages are now larger and easier to click through on desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
- A new, improved search bar helps you find your favorite games quicker and discover new games with search suggestions as you type.
Playing Games: Now Easier!
- Game screen size is increasing! On laptops and desktop computers, you can toggle between two different screen sizes: Standard Mode, similar to the current game screen size, and Larger Player Mode, a slightly bigger, more convenient play area. Games will automatically start in Larger Size. To toggle down, click the screen icon on the bottom right corner of the game.
- It’s also now easier to play on your mobile phone. Game area scaling on mobile devices is improved and the game will adjust better to the size of your phone’s screen.
Site Speed: Now Faster!
- Speed to access and play games is improved. You can start enjoying your games faster, while other page elements continue loading in the background.
These changes are made possible by a new foundational technology that will enable us to bring you additional edutainment features, updates, and new games.
We hope you are as excited as we are about these improvements. For more information, visit the Frequently Asked Questions.
From all of us,
Thank You and Happy Playing!

Really great news! Love the games and always ready to see improvements in function. My partner has some serious medical issues so the games have been great for getting me through surgeries and treatments and medical visits.
Thanks so much and keep improving!!!!!!

Hi @patty3970, you can change your settings so you won't receive the notifications. To view and manage your subscriptions:
- Go to My Settings > Subscriptions & Notifications
- Click My Subscriptions to see a list of the items you've subscribed to. You can click a subscription to go to the item.
- To delete a subscription, click the check box for the subscription and click Email Subscription Options > Delete Selected Subscriptions.

I am writing this not only to thank you so much for stopping the maddness of all those emails, but also to test that I did it right.
I couldn't find the place to confirm I wanted to deleat those notices( the last step you mentioned) finally clicked on the box near the top with the 3 dots in it and that was where it was. Mentioning this to help the next person.

I hate that you're removing the Mahjongg Dimensions Candy game. It's my favorite of the Mahjongg games. It was introduced during the last makeover, so why remove it? The newer version - Mahjongg Candy w/layers of tiles - that I tried the other night - I hate it already. I'm finding fewer and fewer reasons to play the aarp games. I play them to keep my mind sharp, not to get frustrated. What's the matter w/your programmers?

In the game 5Roll could you seperate the sound of the clicking dice and the music, which i find irritating.
Bubble dragons saga. After I play for a while the game gets corrupted and I have to close out and start again. I do not understand the scoring. When I play a section I get a score in the thousands for each. But where it shows my all time score it is 216. I do not think I ever got that far in the sections.

I am totally addicted to the Word Wipe game and wanted to mention that there is a glitch in the game. A number of letters (maybe as many as 9 grouped together) in the bottom center of the board do not work well. I don't think it's my computer, though I would be interested in finding out if anyone else has this problem.
What happens is when I click on certain keys in the lower center of the board to form a word, nothing happens. The keys do not light up and I'm not able to form the word. I can occasionally get those keys to work if I "go around;" that is, click on another letter in the word, then go back to click on the letter I wanted, but this of course wastes time and the point is to form words as quickly as possible, so you can imagine that this is a very frustrating experience when the clock is running out. Could you please check to see if you have any problem getting the letters in the lower center of the board to light up when you click on them? I don't think it's any particular letters, just their location on the board.
Please let me know what you find out. Thank you!

Is there anyway to hide the AARP header/banner when in full screen? Having that big red AARP banner at the top of the screen robs us of the "Full" Fullscreen experience when gaming. "we're old but were not going to forget wich website we're on :), even if you do remove the banner" 🙂
