The highest score I've ever gotten is about 2900 in 10x10 and that was probably a 20 minute game. Yesterday I saw a score in excess of 197,000! First, that score is clearly not possible and second, using 20 minutes for a 2900 game, it would take 22 HOURS to get such a score. Obviously, I'm not trying to get such an astronomical score but I'd like to improve my score and I DO concentrate on clearing lines. But invariably I hit that point where there are no more moves. So I'm wondering, are there any legitimate "tricks" used in scoring well on 10x10. I had a dream that, like Tetris, you can turn the game pieces and fit them into the grid in multiple ways. But if that's possible, I haven't figured out how to do it. So for those 10x10 gamers who get scores in the 10K-20K range, do you have a method you use? Or are those scores just luck?
