We are now listening to 30 second ads before playing games

I I personally will stop playing the games due to the recent addition of 30 second ads during play.  Not just once but after a few games played they repeat.  No more for me.

I'm out. Used to play 3 games every morning, but I'm not sitting through ads to do it.

I get up, walk around, or read something else in that short ad time.  By the time I’m back, or finished reading whatever, ad is over.

agree, the ads keep repeating for the same things.  If you are not interested the first time, why do they repeat it.  I am researching games that do not have the ads.  We pay membership fees, why do we have to put up with ads as well.

Well today was the worse.  On the daily crossword, an ad for Tesla was listed as 17 minutes!  This is getting ridiculous!

You don't need to listen to ads.

Install Ad Block Plus on the browser that you use to visit AARP and you won't ever get a single ad.

Easy to install as I did it and I am as electronically challenged as they come.

It is a free service too.

Ad Block Plus will block the ad but the delay to start the game is still there. The AARP website is just terrible - floating banners, pop-up videos, ads everywhere.  Not using it any longer for anything.  AARP, you don't respect your audience.

Is there a monthly cost to install Ad Block Plus?

Hey @KarenH526461,

Did you miss reading the last sentence of my comment?

Adblockers do not stop the ads in the game, only the ads on the site.  However, many websites will not let you in if you have an adblocker on.
