Smartle high scores

Has anyone noticed that the Smartle high scores have shot up a lot overnight? The previous high scores were around 207,000 to 209,000. And, overnight, they're showing around 230,000. What happened?

Over the past two days, my scores have dropped from over 100,000 to below 5000. What gives?

It would be helpful if there were a way to know the scoring system. Today, the high scores are around 100,000. I don't get it.

I agree.  My score is still under 5000, no matter how much my play improves. I noticed the other players’ daily top scores range from over 200,000 to around 17,000.  I’m about to ready to drop this game.  I enjoy playing, but the scoring issues distracts from the experience.

I agree that the scoring is frustrating, but I enjoy the game, too. So, for now, I try to improve my *new* high score. 

Do you play both the Daily and Sprint games? The two score are combined for a total daily score. I noticed that using less Swaps gets a higher number, too. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips. I have not tried Sprint yet. Wasn’t aware that the scores combined. I had been scoring over 100,000. I guess my ego is taking hit.

It seems like they've been working to eliminate the obvious cheater scores. I still don't understand the scoring, but it's a fairer game now.

Looks like I’m still missing out on how to score big at this game. I see today that many people have scores ten times what I got. I enjoy the game, but the scoring issues are disheartening.

Yes, it looks like the cheaters are back in force. Oh well...
