FAQ Dangle Drop

What is Dangle Drop?

Dangle Drop is a meditative, physics-based puzzle game where you dismantle constellations of stars by clicking on them, with the goal of using their momentum to break up all the stars in the sky.

What is the goal of the game?

The goal of Dangle Drop is to break all the solid white stars in the sky by clicking on certain stars and allowing them to collide into one another. When no solid white stars remain, you win the level.

When do I beat a level?
Remove all the solid white stars from the board by clicking non-solid stars and making them collide.

How many levels are there?

200.

How do I play once I begin a level?

To play Dangle Drop, simply click on any of the stars that aren’t solid white or completely empty. (The game won’t let you click on those.) Click on stars that are partly filled in – those are the stars that you can break, allowing the dangling to begin.

What happens when I click on a star?

If the star isn’t connected to other stars that keep it in place, it will fall, bringing the white lines attached to it along with it. Sometimes you’ll have to click several stars to see them fall.

Can I lose?

If there are no more stars to click but solid white stars remain, you haven’t solved the puzzle of the level. The game will reset and you can try that level again.

Can I reset the level manually?

Yes. At any time during gameplay, you can click the restart button in the top right of the screen to reset the puzzle.

I’m stuck on a level in Dangle Drop. What can I do?

If you get stuck, use the telescope. After a few failed attempts, a telescope will appear in the top right of the screen, below the restart button. Click that and, after an ad, the game will tell you the correct order of stars to click to beat the level.

Can I choose which level to play?

Yes. After you beat a level, you can go back at any time and give it another try. Click the compass icon in the top left of the screen while playing a game to go back to the main menu, and click “select level” to choose from previously beaten levels.

Can I turn off the sound and music in Swipe City?

Yes. Click the compass icon in the top left of the screen while playing a game to go back to the main menu, where you can toggle the sound and music on and off.

I got to level 96, but had to stop. But when I try to choose a level, nothing happens. There isn’t anywhere to click play to start the level. What am I doing wrong?

Level 71 doesn't work properly. I checked the solution and even that doesn't work. Of course, I can't move on to level 72 without 71 getting a fix
