Denny's restaurant and AARP discount.

 I recently was in Anchorage, Alaska and had a meal at Denny's.  I rarely used the AARP card for a discount, so decided to use it there.  The waitress said they don't accept the card there.  How do we know which Denny's will accept the discount card?

You have to go to the Denny's web page to find out all the terms and conditions and locations on the discount.

It does seem that this info should be available on the AARP members benefit page - It is the AARP Discount that is being used as a member perk.

Most restaurants DO NOT accept discount cards in both ALASKA and HAWAII. Their margins on goods they sell are narrower due to expensive shipping costs. This is pretty much common knowledge.
