You jumped back into the dating pool as an older adult after being widowed, divorced or it was just time to find that special someone. And hooray, you did! But your besties โ whoโve known you for years โ arenโt too wild about your new boo.
โPeople may feel very excited about a new partner and assume that they will get along well with their friends,โ says Susan Trotter, a Boston-based relationship coach. โThis is especially true for those over 50 who have long-established friendships."

Well at Age 67, IF I was in this situation I would ask them WHY?
I know many times over the years on the "flip side" I had a good reason for NOT liking a friend's choice. But IF I was NOT asked WHY, I kept this to myself. Got to let folks live THEIR lives THEIR way.
