What Do You Do On Rainy Days? ☔
💥 Discussion created on March 28, 2021💥
It rained all day today and so glad it was a Sunday, my day to rest. To lighten my mood, hate dreary overcast rainy days, I worked on my Color By Number. Takes my mind off the weather 🙂 Luv looking outside my window and seeing Mr. Sun. Lol, but not today 😞

Given that I live in the Pacific Northwest which is basically a rain forest, rainy days here are called Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. So what I do is put on my baseball cap, grab my 'brella, take out the trash, clean out the mail box, go pick up a meal, all the normal things. (Only being slightly sarcastic, but it's true that too much sunshine depresses me. I'm weird that way. LOL!)

Well @Anonymous the trade off here is that we usually don't have hot summers, which is good because almost no one has air conditioning at home. But we're on a hot and sunny streak right now -- 4 days without rain and temps in the 70s! I do remember one May 30 years ago where it was 90 and it nearly brought society to a halt.

Hi @Rhymesometimes thank you for stopping by 🙂 As usual no pressure to respond to the following questions.
- Do you have a lot of droughts? I live near Roanoke, Virginia and get way too much rain. Sometimes daily rain for weeks which causes the Roanoke River to overflow and basements to flood.
- What type of popcorn do you like? I use to enjoy popcorn, but of late not.
- What type of movies do you enjoy? Me, clean mystery. Luv the old ones like Poirot, Murder She Wrote and so on.

@Anonymous , This past year, it only rained a few days. If you like sun, Scottsdale will give you lots of it. We have had temps hit 115 and above, so there is a trade-off for little rain. Popcorn on the stove top with coconut oil is our favorite snack. While crunching those kernels, we like murder mysteries, documentaries ( for me, anything on wellness and nutrition ) , the original Flip or Flop ( inspirational while we waited to get into our new home ). One of our favorite movies was "Queen's Gambit." Angela Landsbury as Jessica Fletcher, a classic fun light viewing pleasure. Christine

@RosemaryF433825 sounds cozy! What is the name of your kitty if you do not mind sharing? Same with what book you are reading.

@Anonymous I actually have three cats...two are outdoor/indoor. The newest member that is strictly inside is Myles Standish (aka Myles) who I got the Monday before Thanksgiving last year. He's just 7 months old.
The book I am reading is called: The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune.
It's actually a fantasy. I'm quite eclectic when it comes to what I enjoy reading, and I still like to actually have the book in my hand instead of going electronically.
