I AVOID Uber here in Virginia. NOT sure IF Lyft exists in my location.
The ONLY time I use Uber is when my car has to spend the night at my mechanic. My daughter in Florida sends one to transport me as needed.
I will use my Senior Pass on the City Bus that comes into my county, but it does NOT come up my hill. It also does NOT run on Sundays out here - just in the city.
SOME drivers are old folks, friendly, clean backseats and safe drivers.
Others may be youngsters & that is when you roll the dice.
Lol, I have had drivers speed up my hill past my entrance in spite of me waiting outside & flagging them down. ๐
Then I have to wait for them to come back down the hill after "finally" figuring out GOOGLE was wrong.
Then add the "speeding" - nope, GRATEFUL the other old lady (2006 Hyundai Elantra) is still running.
Take care,
