It's time to celebrate Women's history month. Share a figure in history that has impacted your life and how.
There are so many! I really enjoyed the movie Harriet about Harriet Tubman and her underground railroad. She had a huge impact on our lives. It was 100 years ago that American women gained the right to vote thanks to decades of hard work by activists such as Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott, and Susan B Anthony. These women all made it possible for us to gain our basic human rights. Though we have a long way to go before reaching econmoic parity with men, we continue to grow stronger with time and perseverence.
