Correct @cynthialauf, the first president to celebrate Hanukkah in the White House was Harry S. Truman, and St. Nicholas, the inspiration for Santa Claus, was born in modern-day Turkey.

Today's Kwanzaa trivia question:

Who created Kwanzaa and what year?

@ms9596504 @e743336m You're correct that Jimmy Carter was the first president to light the first National Menorah on the White House lawn.

But, nobody got the first president to celebrate Hanukkah in the White House. Any more guesses?

Today's Christmas trivia question:

Santa Claus is based on the real-life Christian bishop St. Nicholas. In which modern-day country was St. Nicholas born?
