Over the past few months, we’ve been preparing our home for visitors, whether for the holidays or the upcoming Super Bowl. That includes cleaning your house. The cleaning products you use can end up in the environment, whether they're used outside, rinsed down the drain or evaporate into the air. Some ingredients in cleaning products can impact the environment.

Join the NC Cooperative Extension of Person County to learn the difference between cleaning and sanitizing, which cleaners are effective and how to make your own green cleaning recipes. Green cleaning is a great way to reduce VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in the home and save some money!
