Favorite Place You Have Lived?

Every state has there pros and cons.  Do you have a favorite place that you have lived?

 

There is probably no perfect state,

that I could give higher than an eight.

Guess the only word,

is be a "snow bird."

And pick two states, and migrate!

Whoops, made a mistake.  Broke a limerick rule, and just now cause it.  TLine 1,2 and 5  should have the same number of syllables.  It should read

So you should pick two states and migrate.

 

Top states to "migrate to": Idaho, South Carolina, Oregon, South Dakoda and Arizona.

Except for the cost of housing and a few other things, I love Washington state. Beautiful green nature and mountains in the western half, usually coolish summers -- this week notwithstanding -- temperate winters.  

 

Probably my second favorite was Bitburg Germany -- fairly central location to all the gorgeous and historical sites of western Europe. I might have said Colorado, anywhere in the Denver to Ft Collins corridor or Estes Park, but it's gotten overgrown, traffic is awful, and it's way overpopulated now, imho.
