Except for the cost of housing and a few other things, I love Washington state. Beautiful green nature and mountains in the western half, usually coolish summers -- this week notwithstanding -- temperate winters.
Probably my second favorite was Bitburg Germany -- fairly central location to all the gorgeous and historical sites of western Europe. I might have said Colorado, anywhere in the Denver to Ft Collins corridor or Estes Park, but it's gotten overgrown, traffic is awful, and it's way overpopulated now, imho.
