AARP Foundation Experience Corps National Meeting is an occasion to celebrate, share ideas and look to the future.
Experience Corps is a volunteer program that trains people over 50 to tutor students to become better readers by the end of third grade; this meeting is where all those committed to the mission meet innovation, where the wisdom of our volunteers fuels the fire of student achievement, and where every voice is valued in the quest to empower and uplift communities.
Weve been connecting well-trained older adult volunteers with K-3 students for 30 years, and this event showcases the best of those decades.
