We raised our children with a balance of the secular and religious traditions when it came to Easter. There was the classic egg dyeing and egg hunt, and baskets with Peeps ( gross ) Pez ( now we're talking ) . But we also gave them a spiritual grounding in our Christian faith at church.
I grew up in a non-religious household. We would dye eggs, do egg hunts, visit the Easter bunny and search for our baskets. We were not a peeps family! Both my sister and I are big fans of the cadbury mini eggs - those have always been our favorite. We would gather with either my mom's side or dad's side of the family for dinner. Usually, ham, which I'm not a fan of but I'd eat it. How are y'all celebrating Easter this year? 🐰
