I have a 70th birthday coming up in February!!!  I plan on giving my self a series of personal training sessions and to have dinner at a fancy restaurant with my daughter.  I am on a big get healthy kick this year as I have a bucket list, largely trave that I would like to complete.  Losing weight is hard but I feel motivated to get it done.Laughing

this was a sad excuse for a birthday celebration, but, is how i spent it, nonetheless.  first my partner and i had our annual mammograms and then we had our teeth cleaned!  thankfully, neither event held any bad news.  i did get lunch out and a chocolate milk shake from steak and shake!  :-)  maybe next year...

I turned 60 yesterday.  I celebrated at the Redskins/Cowboys game with my husband, compliments of my 5 children.  This Saturday they are throwing me a big birthday party.  Since my birthday is 3 days before Christmas, I have only had one birthday party in my life, so my kids and best friend decided we should do it up big.  Can't wait.Surprised

I did the same thing I did for the past 31 birthdays..... nothing.  My spouse didn't do much to celebrate, but now that I am a widow I hope by next year I can celebrate it with a new love.  Walks on the beach, a nice dinner and something fun and exciting.  I can't wait.  The past 2 1/2 years have been a challenge, however I am stronger because of it.  Beginning a new chapter and some positive changes.  Smile

Birthdays are celebrated in numerous cultures, often with a gift, party, or rite of passage. Many religions celebrate the birth of their founders with special holidays.......

Kiss On 12/12/13 I shall be 65 years young!  Where did the last 25 years go?  I do believe I did not sleep through it.  Anyway, I just took a new position at work in the office with the same great company I have worked with for many years.  However, I was a home health aide and worked "in the field" as we say.  It was a great job taking care of people and I met so many wonderful and unforgettable characters.  Now I am basking in good fortune again with the office staff.  What a great birthday gift I have received with my new position as administrative assistant.  I have been truly blessed with my job and my adorable pup who is 10 years young!!!

I turned 65 today. My husband and I went to our local casino to play bingo. Did not win bingo but won playing keno. Then went to Applebee"s for dinner. We had a great time.
