This article is a must read for those of us with an "only" child. She GAVE UP her job and moved to help her Mom & Grandmother. Now both deceased. As a parent of an "only" child, I did have some feel for WHAT I need to do NOW. Parents, please have as much SET UP "before" you can NO longer TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF or die. Our kids will be GRIEVING & donot need the ADDED stress (financial and so on).
