Lol, my Money Diet since retiring is alot easier than the other diet I really need to be on. Yes, the Food Diet.

Watching my pennies came from a childhood with a Single Mom (my dad died when I was 12 & I am the eldest of 3) who somehow went back to work after being a housewife forever. My dad was an Engineer & life was good. This STRONG woman managed to "design & build" a house NEAR to my School District. My two brothers were ages 5 & 2 when we lost him in a car accident on his way home from work. Yes, she COLLAPSED at his funeral, but somehow made it. She kept a BUDGET NOTEBOOK. Back then, NO computers or cell phones. I have passed the Money Diet on to my only child = proud to say she listened. Great article AARP!!!
