Try opening page in Desktop Mode
I always open websites in Desktop view and the promo code box is always there.

I usually keep a page open that has an "Enter a promo code" box on it.  

The Rewards Redeem page has a place to enter a promo code at: https://www.aarp.org/rewards/redeem/all/ , as do most of the other Rewards pages.

The "Enter a promo code" box is under the black banner on toward the right hand side of the screen as shown.
