Numerous Quizzes and Videos Not Awarding Points

It appears after the site maintenance, numerous quizzes and videos are not awarding points.  Some do not have the point badge, while others with the badges are also not awarding points.  Hope this can be fixed.

i HAVE BEEN HAVING THE SAME ISSUE.  Spend time watching a video or doing a puzzle, only to have no points awarded afterwards.  Repeatedly happened.  So disappointing not to be able to earn points today.

I usually use the web site to earn rewards points, and also had problems. Got points for a few videos, but most gave the message that more time was needed to reward the points.  So I switched to the app, and so far have gotten points for all videos. I even re-watched the videos I didn't get points for on the web site and got points for them.

 

Update:  I did just see a video on the app that didn't have a rewards badge when I opened it. I closed the video and reopened it, and now the rewards badge is showing, and I watched the video and got points. So it looks like there are also issues with the app, but they can be worked around just by making sure the rewards badge is showing when you watch the video. Or maybe it will just take awhile for the app to also start having more problems 🙄

 

Update 2: guess it was just a matter of time, because now I am also getting the "need more time" message on the app 🙄

Hopefully we aren't going to have to wait until Tuesday to have them work on this.  After all they take weekends off and this is a Holiday weekend so they won't be back until Tuesday.

I would guess there are probably a lot of off shore contractors involved in the broad scope of the all the AARP Digital Online presence.

 

Include everything that represents AARP online, its official website, social media profiles, forums, search engine listings, and advertisements.

 

I would expect AARP to create a service ticket to the contractor at the first possible opportunity. I guess sooner or later it will all be AI driven.

Waited a few hours and tried the Outspell game. Still no points 😞. They need to take the site down and do maintenance.

Unfortunately, AARP has the worst website there is.  It's been this way as long as I've been on it... sometimes it works, sometimes it goes many weeks being down.  I've literally used thousands of sites in my life, and AARP has consistently been the worst, hands down.  Clearly, they simply do not care!

Same #hit, different year...Jan 2025 upgrade the worst yet???

Took a lot of extra effort to max out points earned today, lots of duplicate tasks, and a few I just gave up on for today. Sim issues to what is reported by everyone else here. Not Fun. 

 

And those messages about needing extra time, maybe 1/3 of those actually posted points according to transaction history.

For about every 5 quizzes I did, i got points for one out of the 5.  Sometimes, it says it will give me the points later but I have seen that before and it never gives you the points later.

Same here 2 videos and no points for either even did one of them twice.....

Getting points so far for quizzes with badges.  Not getting points when no badge is there.  Have not tried videos or games yet.

But I still had several videos that did not reward points even with the badge there.

Working "rewards" activities show a "badge" usually lower right of the activity...

Yes.   Very frustrating to spend the time on Word Wipe and get no points.  Glad I wasted no more time.  This is not the first time this has happened.   AARP Rewards needs a new tech team.  Something goes wrong every single time they work on it.

Same here. Didn't get points for the 2 minute crossword or the Suduko games.
