Hello @AARPConsumerCare , I know you guys will NOT return until "after" the Labor Day holiday. But was wondering IF I could get my "missing" points upon your return.

 

(1) On Saturday 8/30/25, I had completed the following video & DIDNOT "receive" points. Also showing as "uncompleted".

 

➡️[*** NEW! VIDEO. Ease your pain with better sleep.

 

(2) TODAY, I "clicked" on the same video to watch AGAIN. Lol, it says I already "completed" = correct!!!

I had a problem with this video also. No points awarded for watching it but the transaction shown in the black banner awarded points for the pickleball video which I did not watch.

(1) I made it through page one.  👍

 

(2) Completed page two. Instead of the "continue" TAB appearing as it did on page one after "completion" - page two still has "locked" TAB at bottom of screen.

 

(3) Is this a "glitch" maybe?  🤔

Lol AARP Brandon @AARPConsumerCare , I could NOT "figure" out WHERE you had ADDED my "missing" points. Then the "lightbulb" in my OLD BRAIN went on. Looked in the ADJUSTMENTS & there it is!!! HAPPY dance time.  💃  Thank you SO MUCH. Nicole. 💛

AARP @AARPConsumerCare , I know you guys are off today but wondering when you return on Monday IF you could ADD my "missing points for a quiz" I just completed. It was on my LIST of quizzes that DO GIVE POINTS as I "avoid" the ones that DONOT. Anyway, moving forward - lol, I will be "avoiding" this one.  👍

I was NOT able to get points for the Weekly News Quiz - 8/14/2025.

 

@AARPTeri posted a LIST today at 1:02pm ET.

 

The OTHER 3 activities gave me points.  👍

 

I tried Quiz a 2nd time, said I already COMPLETED. Correct.  👍

 

(1) Still NO POINTS.

 

(2) Still showing as NOT COMPLETED.

 

Anyone else having this issue or am I very special today.  🙄

I had a different problem with the 8/14/25 Weekly News Quiz. After I completed it, the check mark shows in the 450 circle, but I was only credited 300 points and the Transaction History says I did the What Are Hearing Aid Alternatives? video, which I believe I have NEVER done, certainly not today.

In addition, on 8/1 I set my alarm (as I usually do) to get up at 11P central time so I could do the Extra Credit Rewards points and then “buy"(with points) the gift cards that I want. I did them all (some of them at least 4-5 times) but, although the check mark showed in the points circles, the Extra Credit lines would not fill in all the way to the right, therefore I wasn’t able to get the reward gift card that I wanted (Amazon), even though at the time it was still available and I had the required # of points(27,000). Usually I quietly put up with the glitches in the AARP Rewards system, but REALLY, AARP, THIS IS THE YEAR 2025! CAN YOU PLEASE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND STOP HAVING THESE GLITCHES IN EARNING AND REDEEMING THE REWARDS POINTS? IT’S VERY ANNOYING!

With all the complaints I see on 

these boards, ie cheating, rewards glitching, I wouldn’t blame AARP if they just did away with rewards.  I mean, all I see are people eager to get a perk that they’ve been given by taking quizzes, games, etc for enticement to their site.  And members have to know at some point it CAN end if it becomes too much trouble for them to upkeep, right?

 

 If I don’t get my reward points for a given game, I don’t fret about it.  It happens a lot, but I’m certainly not counting on these points to be awarded. It’s just a fun thing they’ve attached to the site, but it doesn’t have to be the - be all and end all, does it?
