For me it is Monroeville, Alabama.  To Kill A Mockingbird is my favorite book and movie.  The courthouse was exactly in the movie as it stands today.  My memories as a pre-teen reading the book for the first time gave me an understanding of the words prejudice, bigotry and injustice.  The movie which starred Gregory Peck brought these very realisms into context and I identify with the character Scout which always was saying the wrong things at the wrong times for all the right reasons.  The courthouse is now and will always be very uplifting and bring back some wonderful memories.  My Holy Grail is to someday meet the author.. Harper Lee.

I have a few places that I fell in love with. New Orleans, anyplace in Alaska ( most beautiful place I have ever seen), Key West  FL. and San Francisco CA. Alaska would be my 1st stop and New Orleans would be next.
