Make sure to visit the many winery's surrounding the falls. The Niagara wine region is known for its world class wines and Ice-wines.

On a sunny day, we could sit for most of the day and watch the falls.  Be careful on the boats off/on, its slippery.  We had a fall that nearly ruined the trip.  Good that we had travel insurance--we got it because we stayed on the Canada side for better views.  We thought we should have medical coverages in Canada.  It paid off.  Look at CSA TRAVEL PROTECTION

CSA has plans of various lengths, coverages, prices on their website:  http://www.csatravelprotection.com/plan-details

Enjoy Niagara.  Its an easy trip.

How long depends on what you mean my "all". We did everything in my blog piece in about 5 hours including lunch. You can certainly go to most of the Falls related attractions in one busy day, although I would definitely suggest staying long enough to see the light show on the falls. If you want to add the The Botanic Gardens and Butterfly Exhibit, add a day. If you want to go to Fort Niagara, Niagara-on-the-Lake and/or the Electric Generating Plant on the U.S. side, add more time.

That depends what you mean by "all". You can certainly do most of the Falls attractions in one (somewhat) busy day. Although I would definitely stay one night and make a reservation at one of the restaurants that overlooks the falls while the light show is on. If you want to include the botanical gardens and butterfly exhibit, that makes 2-3 days, if you want to go to Fort Niagara, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and or the Electric Generating Plant tour on the U.S. side, add more days.

And this ignores the wax museums, horror houses, casino and other attractions.

Compared to Iguazu Falls, Niagara Falls is like a dripping faucet.

Growing up in Buffalo, Niagara Falls was one of our "go to" places on the weekends. There's good reason for it to be one of the "7 Wonders of the World."  The beauty of the Falls is beyond measure; and you can feel it's power in your chest.  Whenever I visit relatives in the Buffalo area, I always go to "The Falls."   Forget about all the "side shows" - just take in the beauty and power and open up your senses to it's power.
