I live on Martha's Vineyard and find our beaches are beautiful. I love to walk in Oak Bluffs along the water and/or on the sidewalk that runs the entire road.  Bend in the road beach is a favorite with beautiful views, surg that is not too rough and a great place to swim, read or just enjoy the scenery

Do you have summer travel plans already? Looking for a good beach to spend the day, or a boardwalk area for a stroll? Here are our picks in the U.S. for great places to spend some relaxing summer days:

Best Beaches: https://www.aarp.org/travel/vacation-ideas/beaches/info-2018/best-summer-beach.html#slide1

Best Boardwalks: https://www.aarp.org/travel/vacation-ideas/beaches/info-2018/boardwalks-for-50-plus.html

Have you been to any of these? If so, which ones? Or, do you have other favorites to recommend?
