Night Driving

Hello, finished Night Driving  ! After 40+ yrs of professional Driving   70% Night shift as Petroleum Driver   100,500 gallons of gas  rolling next to you. Oncoming traffic, seems every other car has thier high beams ON ! Photo-recovery minimum 4 seconds = 400ft 4 football fields before you recover  !!! that's certain DEATH.  In the ditch  head on into traffic  etc. WHY  ?? European auto manufacturers take safety seriously  ! so many advancements,  yet U.S. fails to even come close. Active Headlights !! Come on, why don't we have that ??? how many more wasted lives ??? because our government worries about $$$$. meanwhile 4 football fields traveled before your Night vision is restored. 

  I sat high in commercial vehicle,  but no escape from high beams  ! 400 ft of gasoline coming at you and your family  !! turn off high beams at an appropriate distance,  don't be the idiot who thinks Oh that semitruck sits high, doesn't bother him  !!! fools
