Best Vacation spot

Durango, Colorado

This is where my husband to be ask me to marry. We did 1 year later and we were married for 25 Wonderful Years.

He passed away in 2016 of a heart attack. May he Rest In Peace.

What a lovely story @MoiraD153791 although I'm sad for your loss. May all the wonderful memories be a blessing to you, always.

I visited Durango a couple times as a kid when summer camp took a field trip on the Silverton-Durango narrow gauge. But most of my time in Colorado has been up north in Estes Park. I used to say that was the best vacation spot but it is now over run with tourists and not so wonderful anymore.

So I'm in search of the best vacay spot again.
