Hello. I have had some issues with my dentist. He took all teeth out for dentures (not all at once) but his behavior and attitude toward me has been aweful. He is impatient, intolerant, does not believe my issues with allergies and the anesthetic he uses, and at one point he slapped my hand down when I brought it up while he was adjusting my top denture. That was December, 2021 and the last time I was in his office. I have not been back for more denture adjustments and can't wear them until I go to an oral surgeon to remove bone spurs that are causing pain. A legal representative has advised me not to go back. Dentist won't guarantee my dentures unless I go back for tissue reconditioning. Question is: Should I seek criminal charges for slapping me? And/or should I send a complaint to the American Dental Association? Thank you.
