Lower blood pressure at home

I've heard of white coat syndrome.  I use an Omron BP786 at home and get consistent readings of about 110/64 with pulse around 65.   Typically in the doctor's office it will be 150/80.  I'm on 12.5mg of hydrochlorothiazide HCT per day.
Once in the past I took the Omron to the office and got similar to what the nurse did, so I think the Omron is accurate.  I've considered getting a newer model.
I guess I'll take the Omron to my next wellness exam, but one thing I've noticed is that at home I sit down, get my arm at heart height, relax and keep my feet flat on the floor.
The nurse is in a rush and sits me down, slaps on the cuff and away she goes.  Theoretically the doctor's equipment is better, but is it? Especially if used in a rushed manner.
