I watched a good segment on PBS Newshour about this very situation. This is some very troubling questions.

I have a very narrow view on this. It should be an absolute right to end one's life. There should be no '“horrifically tragic” deaths, only those with dignity. I don't see ending one's life as tragic. The tragedy is how it has to be done when it's not legal.
