wi-fi router

I currently have Dish antenna as an internet provider. Because of weather Dish's customer service cannot be reached. I have a wired router. I am installing monitored secutity cameras. They can only be monitored with a wireless router. What kind of wireless router can I buy that will work with both?

What make and model router do you have? It should be both wi-fi and wired. My Ring security cameras are wireless to my router, but the actual video is then sent over wire to Ring. What type of security cameras are you buying?

Here is a link to the current Linksys router I own.

This is the modem I own. Spectrum is my Internet Service Provider.

Most WiFi Routers come with LAN ports (usually 3 or 4) built in.  In theory the simplest thing to do would just be to replace your wired router with a WiFi router and use the LAN ports to support your existing network.  If you need more than 3 or 4 ports, you could add an unmanaged switch.

If you want options for adding a WiFi router to your existing LAN, there are several options explaned in this article:

@hl86364177,

I can't answer your router question, but I read that Dish was recently hit with a ransomware attack. That may be a factor in your difficulty reaching their customer service. I googled up an article on it.
