My name is NOT at the TOP of my screen. Just REGISTER and LOG IN indicating I am NOT logged in but the My Profile TAB is present = SO GRATEFUL I can post here in the forum. Anyone else have this issue or am I special and the only one?

(Thursday 6/27/24 3:29pm ET) Thanks Marcy @MarcyW882921 , even my iPad which uses Safari would NOT show the My Profile TAB at TOP of screen AFTER I logged in.

You CANNOT post in this forum IF this TAB is missing.  ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„

Lol, today is Thursday and the LAST time this TAB disappeared for me was Monday. I did let the AARP Web Team know and keeping my fingers and toes crossed that I DO NOT get LOCKED OUT a 3rd time.  ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Anyway, the AARP Moderator @Underbat APPRECIATES our responses - thank you!!!  ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

So GRATEFUL he cares enough to let AARP Management know about this discussion.

I AM USING ANDROID AND CHROME AT THE MOMENT.

[1] My Profile TAB was NOT at top of screen when I arrived to post my Good Morning to the group in the AARP Grief & Loss Forum = I could log into forum, but could NOT post. I was able to LOG OUT, LOG BACK IN and post = My Profile TAB was back at TOP of my screen.

[2] In the past, as the day/night progressed AFTER this 1st issue of NO My Profile TAB at the TOP of my screen - My Profile TAB went BYE BYE for days = I could log into forum, but could NOT post.

@Winter2024,

Since you are wondering why the same glitches don't affect all devices, it is likely that much of the code on these webpages (HTML, Javascript, and CSS/styles) runs locally in your browser. That scenario creates a heavy dependence on your device (for speed of execution), your OS and your browser version. Compatibility can change with each new version. Developers can end up in an "arms race" trying to support the major browsers.

Browsers-Safari and Chrome.

OS-iOS 17.5.1 for the moment and subject to change, which means iPhone.

when I have problem logging in I sign out and just log back in.

or do an update of my OS, reboot (turn off and turn on again).

Froze

And yes, after long days/nights, I'd still like to swing these hunks of glass , plastic and silicon against the nearest wall Come on retirement!
