Soooooo.... I uploaded a more recent photo
It previewed in the correct orientation
When I saved it
It saved sideways
Retried multiple times
No Luck
Any Advice Would Be Greatly Appreciated

Not Having Win10 Issues - when I try to post on AARP it shows up in the correct orientation in the AARP preview but when I look at it on a post - it's sideways - I guess I'll try shrinking the sixe but do not yet know how - thanks

Probably the size of picture youโre trying to use like, @cat0w suggested.
Use any of the photo editing software to shrink your picture size down.
On my phone it offers a resize option for smaller sizes.
On my laptop I have similar options in edit, or paint.net for truly easy shrinking, Re-sizing.

What is the size of your photo? Mine is 800 x 800. My photo is jpeg.
I did write a reply to a post the other day with photos in it, one turned sideways like yours and I could never find a way to change it. Using snip & sketch I cut out what I wanted to post, made another reply and it showed as it should. Look at this topic. https://community.aarp.org/t5/Housing/Do-You-Have-Outdoor-Space/m-p/2331633#M161
